Was there anything you found particularly difficult?

Reasons for finding These Homes difficult to use:

My reasons for transferring didn't fit the boxes. Also our medical situation again wasn't in the boxes.
One woman from one if the agencies was extremely condescending rude and frankly "out of date" over same sex relationships. I was disgusted and took the 3 she represented off.
im a bit dxlesic but im getting there
The back and forward for information I got help with it but it was still quite stressful some the questions and felt a little too personal at points.
If I recall , it was the fact if you weren’t able to complete the question at fhe first session, then it took some time to figure out how to return to the question to complete or add to it later. As I have processing issues and visual issues it takes me much longer than normal to complete a form. I had to return to form at least over 3 or 4 sessions and took me about 5 hrs to complete. As struggle Ruth such. I also had a lot of detail to put in. I discovered just putting xxxx in answer box made it easier to come out and return later. As it thought I had completed an answer. It took me a while once logged out, how to figure out how to return to a specific question add to answers . Also the emails received warning of timing out period and pressure to complete the form within certain time frame I found this terribly stressful. Especially since put so much effort and time into putting details in. An extended period and saving what you have already put in would be more useful. Multiple questions with few easy answers.
Getting IDs uploaded.
Explaining by disability and to get proof.
Uploading documents in pdf would be easier to be able to upload pictures of them.
Communication not good on computers and found it very unclear.
Describing issues with health and current situation.
Uploading requested proof of identification as it would only allow me to upload one and couldn’t go back again and upload another.. maybe because I had to do it on my phone?
Uploading my documents
Uploading identification. Entering eg. Insurance no...would not accept. Contacted Angus housing for advice which was helpful. Was then advised to attend Monifieth library which was in the process of moving. Eventually went to Carnoustie library where received appropriate help. Form completed.
I'm not very good on the internet.

Can you think of any improvements that would have made the process easier?

Suggestions for improvements:

In order to re-register, I had to contact each association/landlord separately to release my email address. It is time consuming and inconvenient.
More instructions on once apply for properties what to do next.
Took over a month to actually accept my application when I'm homeless.
For people who have come from overseas and returning to the UK there are very limited choices. Some sections maybe need to be a bit clearer and it was clear at times what all documents you needed.
1 More space to put in medical conditions/ symptoms as ii hsve multiple and many that affect my daily living. I think there was only space for up to three. So I ended up Having to lust a few in one box . It was less than straight forward for reason. 2 . As mentioned above . having a button to click to “save as”what you’ve typed in and an option to return to it smoothly.. either whilst in the prices or once logged out and return to form. As some questions require more thought and detail . If unable to answer a question , or leave blank,to return to later, does not permit you to return to next question. Which was really frustrating. It would be better if you could skip a question to return to later or at least have the option to “save as” what you’ve already submitted and make it easier to return to smoothly. Hope this makes sence. I also requested a paper copy of the form. 3- The process of finding out you’ll loose all the info you put in application and time out within 7 days , due to holding personal info/ data protection etc , I found very stressful. Like I say , have visual stress plus neuro diversity etc and took me several sessions to complete form. I ended up calling and received contradictory info. I was told that once I started the form I could take as long as I needed to complete it, but then I received an email once again saying that I had seven days to complete form, otherwise would loose info. So I ended starting the whole process over again.
I was informed by my Housing Officer that my Sister couldn't fill out the application form for me, this lead to a longer process of registering and I was advised that I had to attend their Offices to complete the process.
I already had an account and would rather have been able to still use that than have to make it all over again.
The no offer status, it would be good to know when to cancel applications if unsuccessful. Having other ways to upload ID as not all indicators are I T literate. Or access to digital platforms.
Make the selection process fairer so people don't spend years on housing lists Being able to upload pictures rather than pdf files.
Actually a bit more clearer too confusing.
Some contact from somebody and an update would be good.
More houses in Brechin.
I think it would make sense to interview or at least to talk to people to identify all the full circumstances as some people are unable to type it and need further help.
Emailing the documents would be easier.
Just received email from These homes asking for identification. We have already submitted all information including identification.with assistance at Carnoustie library, whom was very good Someone to speak to would make it easier.
